The importance of teaching critical and creative thinking to students

Abstract

The study aimed to clarify the importance of critical and creative thinking and its effect on advancing the process of education in public schools. The study also considered the importance of creative and critical thinking among children, through the use of the strategies of critical thinking and creative thinking among teachers and students. It was found that the use of the critical and creative thinking strategy is not important, but rather more than important, as it was found that critical thinking contributed to a deeper understanding of the content.

It also enhanced the ability to face problems and challenges, and dive into the depths of the subject in order to get useful knowledge. The research showed that creative thinking is the ability to think about something in a new way, which means thinking outside the box and inventing new ways to carry out tasks, solve problems, and face challenges.
