Abstract

This current study aimed to identify the degree of transcendental leadership practice among school principals in the Directorate of Education of Al- Qasr/ Karak district. A descriptive approach, and the questionnaire were used as a tool for data collection, and the questionnaire was applied to school principals in the Directorate of Education in Al- Qasr/ Karak district. the study sample included (30) directors of education of Al- Qasr/ Karak district.
The results concluded that the degree of practice of transcendent leadership by school principals in the Directorate of Education in Al- Qasr/ Karak district came to a medium degree, with an arithmetic average of (3.24), and the total degree of the dimension of values practice came to a medium degree, and with a mean score of, such as the degree of practice of school principals in the Directorate of Education The total score for the behavioral dimension was moderately high with an arithmetic average of (3.07), and the total score for the spirituality dimension was at a medium degree, with an arithmetic average of (3.29).
The study recommended the necessity of spreading the culture of transcendent leadership in all its dimensions among school principals through holding training courses and workshops
